Air-floating ovens are also known as suspension ovens, air-cushion ovens, etc. The operation of the adhesive substrate in this oven does not rely on conveyor belts or transmission rollers, but on hot air flow to support and suspend it. Because there are no transmission rollers and conveyor belts in the drying channel, the heat transfer efficiency is high, which is its unique characteristic.
Design principle of air-floating oven
Air-floating ovens utilize the principles of aerodynamics (wall effect) to achieve stable operation of the substrate in the oven under the pressure of air nozzles or air guides. The oven design adopts a closed-loop control system to maintain the balance of the system by adjusting parameters such as temperature and pressure of the oven. The substrate runs steadily forward in a sinusoidal state between the upper and lower nozzles, which can efficiently and quickly dry the product, and can also ensure that the substrate avoids surface scratches, wrinkles, and unevenness during the drying process. The oven is equipped with an exhaust air damper to exhaust the higher-temperature wet steam outside the oven body.

Non-contact, efficient heat conduction, stable airflow, no surface swing or vibration. Currently, our company has developed and designed 26 different specifications of air-floating nozzles. Different nozzles are matched according to different substrates to ensure that the substrates achieve the best floating state. The processing accuracy of the nozzles is controlled within ±0.1mm, which can effectively ensure the uniformity of slit air supply.
